Regulations and economy for organisations affiliated to ABF Z

Study- circles

Criteria

• A small group of people (3-15).
• Together the participants make a curriculum for their studies or culture activities.
• The group have at least three gatherings, with a minimum of total time of 9 hours, and time for reflection between the meetings. One gathering can last no more than three hours at a time (generally a s.c lasts for 10 weeks x 3 hrs at the time).
• Every Study-circle has to have some kind of a study material on which the work is based on. It could be a book with a study plan or a “plan of work”, curriculum, made by the group.
• The participants must be 13 years or older.
• To be registered, a participant must attend one of the first three gatherings, and be present at no less than three.

A Study-circle can be based on; physical gatherings, meetings over Internet using only computers, or a mix of both. The same kind of regulations for planning and working is applied for all three alternatives.

Economy

When leader of a Study-circle is employed by ABF Z, each participant will pay a fee of 20 (25) SKR per hour (i.e 30 hrs 600 SKR)

When a leader works on voluntary basis, as is the case within most organisations affiliated to ABF, ABF Z can refund verified expenses to a maximum of 20 SKR per hour of study, and 30 SKR for groups of immigrants, disables and unemployed.

Other group activities

For so called “other group activities” a group can get its expenses paid up to 10 SKR per hour. The same requirements of quality apply as for Study-circles, but the organisational demands are less restricted, i.e. You can work more than four hours at the time, have less than three gatherings, be more than 15 persons and be under 13 years of age.

Culture Events

Organisations, which arrange culture events in cooperation with ABF, can get a compensation for verified expenses up to 100 SKR.

If a public event is held the organisation can ask for an extra contribution to help to finance the costs.

The organisation can choose to calculate each activity separately, or ABF can accumulate the activities six months at the time, and settle the economy with the organisation twice a year.
